What is a Fault in Pickleball?

A fault in pickleball is any rule violation that ends the rally — hitting the ball out, volleying from inside the kitchen, hitting the net on serve and missing the box, double-bouncing, etc. The faulting team loses the rally.

Example in a match

You volley the ball while standing in the kitchen. That's a fault. The other team gets the point or side-out.
