What is a Match point in Tennis?
A match point is any point on which winning would clinch the entire match. Match points are tennis's peak pressure moment — the server is one point from victory, the receiver is one point from extending the match (or losing it).
Example in a match
You're serving at 6-5, 40-30 in the deciding set. The next point is match point. If you win it, you win the match.
