What is a Set point in Tennis?

A set point is any point on which winning would clinch the current set. Set points create pressure for both players — the server is one point from holding for the set, the receiver is one point from going down a set.

Example in a match

You're serving at 5-4, 40-30 in the set. The next point is set point. If you win it, you take the set 6-4.
