What is an Advantage in Tennis?

Advantage is the score one point past deuce, where the same player needs to win the next point to take the game. "Ad-in" means the server has the advantage; "ad-out" means the receiver does. If the player at advantage loses the next point, the score returns to deuce.

Example in a match

At deuce, you win the next point. The score becomes "ad-in" if you're serving, "ad-out" if you're receiving.
