What is an And one in Pickup Basketball?
An and-one is when you score a basket and get fouled on the same play. In official basketball, you get a free throw on top of the basket. In pickup, "and one" usually just means "I scored despite being fouled — no call".
Example in a match
You drive to the basket, get fouled, and the ball still goes in. You yell "and one" — you scored despite the foul.
