What is an Attack line in Volleyball?

The attack line (or 3-metre line) is a line 3 metres from the net. Back-row players can't take off in front of this line to attack the ball above net height.

Example in a match

You're in the back row. You spike from behind the attack line — legal. If you'd jumped from in front of it for the same spike, that would be illegal.
